The 31st July 2025 will sadly be the fifth anniversary of the tragic loss of one of our colleagues, Josh “Dooga” Jones.
In his honour and memory, we continue our annual remembrance day ‘Dooga Day’.
This year we have again teamed up with MATES in Construction WA, also known as MATES in Mining to support them to make ‘suicide everyone’s business’. MATES provides suicide prevention through community development programs on sites, and by supporting workers in need through case management and a 24/7 help line. MATES serve the construction industry in Queensland and Northern Territory, New South Wales, South Australia and Western Australia, as well as in Queensland to the Energy sector and nationally to the Mining sector.
The 2025 Dooga Day Fundraiser is now LIVE. The fundraising campaign will run till World Suicide Prevention Day, 10th September 2025 and the raffle will be drawn on 11th September 2025. Draw results will be available on our website.
