Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrical maintenance and repairs on various mining and drilling equipment, including cutting-edge control systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using your expertise and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with our team of PLC automation programmers to ensure seamless integration of automation technologies.
- Contribute to the development of preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability.
Requirements:
- Qualified Cert 3 Auto Electrician with a proven track record in the field.
- Familiarity with PLC and CANBUS systems and a passion for keeping abreast of automation trends.
- A/C licence and experience (preferred).
- Truck diagnostics for Mercedes /Tatra/DAF.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Computer literate with ability to complete work orders and order parts.
- Willingness to embrace the challenges and rewards of the mining and drilling industry.
- Must be able and willing to undertake regular site visits.
