McKay Drilling is an industry-leading WA based drilling company located in Wangara. We are seeking an HSEQ Systems Administrator to join our team and be part of a rapidly growing business with a great company culture.
The Opportunity
An exciting full-time opportunity has arisen to join our HSEQ Team in Wangara Head Office. We are looking for a dynamic individual that has worked in a similar role and wants to develop their career further with a business that will only continue to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee document control processes and maintain document registers and version control in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & ISO 55001);
- Manage the internal IMS Schedule and IMS auditing regime;
- Supporting the HSEQ Manager and Health and Wellbeing Team in promoting wellbeing activities and initiatives;
- Track and manage recognition and staff service awards;
- Maintain McKay Drilling’s Website and Social Media Accounts (Linkedin, Facebook etc);
- Facilitate the review and re-validation of all IMS documentation to ensure they remain valid and in date;
- Assist in the maintenance of Incident Management and Inspection Systems such as Myosh, Intelex, Safety Culture etc;
- Assist in collating and submitting contractor hours and incident frequency rates in various company and client portals;
- Maintenance of corrective action closeouts and compliance;
- Generating monthly safety statistics;
- Assist in Management of Change (MOC) regime, including the use of the MOC Register;
- Facilitating IMS internal audits;
- Assist Departments with structured administrative processes;
- Support all managers in the business as required with the creation or editing of documentation and communication of new processes.
Required Qualities:

- Excellent organisational and time-management skills;
- Excellent attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum five years’ experience in a large business office environment;
- Previous experience in an HSEQ, Mining or Asset Management operating environment (preferred);
- Previous experience with Document Control (preferred);
- Previous experience working in Safety Management Systems (preferred);
- Previous exposure to Management Systems and internal auditing of documents (preferred).
